Unattended or Direct Cremation
If you’re looking to hold a separate service or your loved one requested something other than a traditional funeral, then a direct cremation may be the ideal alternative.
It provides you with an opportunity to hold a memorial service that’s more in line with the wishes of your loved one or you and your family. Direct Plus+ Cremation
We are pleased to present our Direct Cremation Plus+ funeral option, designed to offer families a dignified and meaningful farewell within a manageable budget. This service is especially considerate of the financial pressures families may face, particularly during the current cost-of-living crisis. By combining elements of a traditional funeral with the direct cremation process, we aim to provide flexibility and choice without compromise.
Service Details
- 30-minute funeral service held in a church of your choice
- Provision of a hearse
- Coffin included
- All Funeral Director’s fees, Only (£1,064)
- Any additional items chosen by the family i.e. service sheets, flowers or limousine etc are charged separately
Additional Disbursements
- Church fees: from £369.00 (modern music and photo tributes are available in some churches not all )
- Cremation fee (Salisbury Crematorium only): £295.00

Supporting Families’ Choices
We understand that financial constraints should not limit families in their choices, nor should the wishes for a direct cremation conflict with the desire to celebrate and remember a loved one. We believe that a funeral service is valuable not only for honouring those who have passed away, but also for supporting those who remain.
Attendance and Options
This funeral option is suitable as either a Direct Cremation or a Traditional Funeral, depending on the family’s wishes. The service allows for attendance by any number of guests at the church ceremony. Please Remember you will be saying your final goodbyes at the church not the crematorium please note that the cremation part of the service remains unattended in both cases.
After the cremation, the ashes can be if you wished returned to you or you can scatter them at a private location or at a garden of remembrance. They can also be incorporated into jewellery or kept at home in an urn if preferred.
